Power transformer is one of the key equipment in the power grid. Its quality is directly related to the continuous and stable operation of the power system. It is difficult to evaluate the power transformer quality, because of the complex technology, longtime manufacturing cycle, and high fuzzy information. The quality fuzzy synthetic evaluation method for power transformer based on life cycle theory is proposed, which can solve the above problem. The factor set is established, which contains multi-source information and quality defects information. The multi-source information can be classified to manufacturing, manufacturing, installation, commission, and operation stage. The evaluation set is established with four ranks. The membership degree set is determined based on the fuzzy statistical method. The weighting set is calculated based on the Delphi method. At last, the method proposed is verified by the example.
