The application of three-dimensional tomographic imaging using nontraditional emitters and waveforms has previously been explored. In analytical studies the imaging potential of bistatic hitchhiking using digital television emissions with an airborne receiver has been quantified against idealized scatterers. The processing associated with the noise-like waveform, mitigation of direct signal breakthrough (DSB) and reconstruction, where the effects of platform motion may not be ignored, were described. This paper presents an interim report covering the design and assembly of a two-channel bistatic radar, the conduct of a data collection flight test and image formation based on two dimensional collection apertures.
