Highly efficient, broadband transmission grating close to the dispersion limit

A special configuration for highly dispersive transmission gratings is designed, fabricated, characterized and theoretically investigated. It operates for incidence angles above the TIR-limit of the 0~(th) order under non-Littrow condition and achieves near to 100% diffraction efficiency with a very simple grating profile.
