Content distribution applications allows personal computers to search and download the digital content from the Internet. This can be done with help of P2P (Peer-to-Peer) mechanism. In P2P network, efficient mechanism is needed to locate the content. One mechanism is to form P2P Group based on the similarity interest among the peer. In this paper, a fuzzy based conceptual analysis of P2P group management systems for content distribution application is presented and analyzed. A P2P group formation is done on the basis of content sharing, storage and transmission capacity. In the proposed work a fuzzy based P2P group is formed based on the peers interested in downloading the similar content. The peers with similar content are found and receiver peer requests for content retrieval. The fuzzy inference rules are written to check the parameters that are taken and evaluated. When the peer satisfies the rules, the fuzzy group is formed. A group member/server should be selected to serve the each peer request. The fuzzy group formed provides an efficient file sharing between the peers. The proposed system is compared with the flat networks in which we get 10% improvement in throughput and reduces the distribution time and average download time.
