摘要

The study of oil droplet spreading behaviors after oblique collision with wall is a foundation work for better understanding the complex two-phase flow in an aero engine bearing chamber. Considering the limitations in the present study, a three dimension symmetrical numerical calculation model using Volume of Fluid(VOF)method and an experimental setup about oil droplet-solid surface oblique collision have been built. Combining experimental and numerical methods, this paper studied the oil droplet spreading behaviors on the inclined solid surface, and presented a characteristic diameter of oil film to characterize the oil droplet spreading length in different directions with mathematical processing. Then a lot of numerical calculations have been done in a wide range of conditions. Based on the numerical calculation results, a dimensionless function between the characteristic diameter and collision conditions is finally established through data analysis.
