摘要

This paper introduces a method to estimate and compensate the underground cable's transmit characteristics by using the time-domain equalization and frequency-domain equalization. We have simulated the whole process of channel estimation, and the length of the cyclic prefix (CP) has been effectively reduced. The results show that the inter symbol interference (IS I) can be obviously eliminated. The data transmission rate of the underground high-speed cable telemetry system can be increased to about 1Mbps, and its bit error rate (BER) is less than 10e-5.
