On the infinitely many electromagnetic TE eigenmodes in a plane layered waveguide filled with nonlinear medium: Analytical results

The paper focuses on the problem of TE wave propagation in a dielectric two-layered plane waveguide with nonlinear permittivities. Analytical and numerical techniques are suggested to study the problem. Novel - `purely nonlinear' - guided modes are found. Comparison between linear and nonlinear cases is given.
