摘要

This paper studies the probability of packets being successfully delivered to their intended receivers (vehicles) on a highway by taking multi-user interference, path loss, and fading into account. This probability affects the efficiency of V2V communications for safety purposes in vehicular networks. The presented mathematical framework can be employed in designing the safety applications of VANETs. This has been shown in our simulation results which compare the vehicle collision probability of different models on highways.
