WLANMan: A cloud-based wireless LAN management system in ONOS controllers

摘要

Current wireless LAN (WLAN) management systems with a Software Defined Networking (SDN) controller are insufficient for managing residential wireless access points (APs) and virtual APs (VAPs). In this work, we propose WLANMan which is a new cloud-based WLAN management system through a distributed SDN controller, Open Network Operating System (ONOS). WLANMan supports two applications, the monitoring application and the VAP management application through ONOS web service. This work is the first attempt to manage WLAN in ONOS project.
