Research on Crack Detection of Crystal Stone Based on the Laplacian Operator

摘要

In this paper, a crack detection method of crystal stone is proposed. Firstly, the dilation operator and Laplacian operator characteristics are analyzed. The dilation process is approximated as convolution process. A new operator is superimposed by Laplacian operator and dilation structural operator. Image information is processed based on the new operator. Noise, dark spots and oil stains are removed and crack becomes more clearer. Simulation results show effectiveness of the operator. The method satisfies detection requirements of the production process.
