Wake mode sidebands and instability in comb lasers with slow saturable absorbers

摘要

We computationally study wake modes in a fiber comb laser with a slow saturable absorber. We show that these modes will lead to the experimentally-observed sidebands, and we predict the laser's stable operating regime.
