A Cloud Platform for CAE Simulation in Supercomputing Enviroment

A cloud platform prototype for Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation is developed for the large-scale parallel CAE simulation application. We propose the architecture of the platform. In the architecture, we propose a technology called CAE Application Packaging Template (CAE-APT) for integrating heterogeneous CAE softwares based on "Tianhe No.1". We discuss the design ideas and the key technologies in the architecture, and demonstrate an application for CAE simulation to Mars exploration airbag.
