Parameter Adjustment For Power Assist Devices using the surface EMG

Our research is focusing on controlling power assist devices, proper adjustment on the machine-side system is necessaryto make it work easily with different individual operators. The key indicator is the change of the viscosity duringoperating, and its difficult to accurately adjust the arm impedance. In this research, we use a surface EMG method toadjust the parameters of the power assist system.
