Performance of narrowband hairpin bandpass filter square resonator with folded coupled line

摘要

This paper presents narrowband hairpin bandpass filter square resonator with folded coupled line for operating frequency of 3 GHz. The filter was designed for S-Band applications that need narrow bandwidth. The numerical characteristics of proposed filter were obtained by using software simulation ADS2011.10. Optimization was done to find good performance of the filter. The filter has insertion loss -1.949 dB and VSWR less than 2. The dimension of filter is 73.51 mm × 10.4 mm and approximately 14% less than the dimension of conventional hairpin bandpass filter.
