摘要

Multipath fading and co-channel interference are two main problems that limit the deployment of the IEEE 802.1 la wireless LAN technology. To solve these two problems, this research examines combining adaptive antenna system with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology. It also investigates the effects of adding a cyclic prefix on OFDM systems. The simulation results show that this combination outperforms the individual systems and provides significant improvement on Bit Error Rate (BER).
