In the next generation personal communication networks, it is expected that personalized services are widely used and service profiles are highly referenced. Every call request may need service profile to deliver customized service call. In this environment, the SCP/HLRs are heavily accessed and the network traffic cost will be tremendous. In this paper, we propose two replication schemes for efficient service profile management. One is FMRU (Follow-Me-Replication-Unconditional) in which service profile is always replicated at the user's current zone; the other is FMRC(Follow-Me-Replication-Conditional) that utilize the customer's biased service usages on specific zones. These are described and compared with the Centralized IN service scheme in the view of network traffic costs.
