Core Simulator for Reactor Physics Test of PWRs

In the Pressured Water Reactor (PWRs), reactor physics tests are performed at the initial startup period after refueling. The purpose of reactor physics test is to verify the nuclear core design and to assure safety operation. There are many test items in the reactor physics tests, such as critical boron concentration measurement, isothermal temperature coefficient measurement, control rod bank worth measurement, flux symmetry measurement and power distribution measurement.
