Cooperative communication has been proposed as an efficient technique to extend coverage and improve throughput in future wireless networks. The performance in cooperative communication depends on careful resource allocation such as relay selection and power control. This paper studies a cooperative networks. Our goal is to propose a Stackelberg game based scheme to select relay node and allocate cooperative power. The relay node determines the power for relaying source node's information depending on its available resources, channel state, location and the price which is determined by source. Subsequently, each node maximizes its utility by finding the optimum power and price of the Stackelberg Equilibrium (SE). Numerical results are carried out to verify our proposed approach.
