摘要

This paper, investigates a compact single band notched Ultrawideband (UWB) monopole antenna with a modified Hilbert Fractal Parasitic Resonator. The antenna exhibits an Ultra Wide bandwidth which ranges from 2.61GHz???13.22GHz. The parasitic resonator results in band notching the frequency range between 7.89???8.83 GHz which is assigned for X-band satellite communication systems. This antenna can be used in various UWB communication systems.
