An Emerging Interactive 3D Architectural Design Walkthrough System for Industrial Hotel Builders

Nowadays, the traditional way of presenting a draft structure made by an architect is by using Preliminary Drawings, 3D Rendered Image of the interior and exterior or a Scale Model of the proposed structure to their customers. However, Architects usually have problems with customers who are having a hard time deciding when it comes to the interior details of the structure, during the planning phase. In order to address the problem; the purpose of the researched is designed to address the problems faced by the architects whenever a customer demands for change. The project has a feature that allows the Architect to make changes to the structure's interiors and some exterior details on the spot while the architect present the structure to the client. With the developed system, the Architect is given the control to change the doors', flooring, and walls' texture, change where the windows would appear. The project promotes the flexibility of using a 3D model as an item of presentation to the client compared to Preliminary Drawings or Scale Models that Architects usually use when presenting.
