Simplified superscatterers with homogeneous and isotropic anti-vacuum materials

We propose an easily realizable method for superscatterer by using anti-vacuum material, namely e= μ=-1, which simplifies the constitutive parameters to the utmost extent. Based on the enabling theoretical tool of linear transformation optics, we first design a general rectangular superscatterer with negative-index material, which is homogeneous but anisotropic. To simplify the complex parameters, an advanced scheme is proposed by operating folded transformation along only one coordinate axis. Finally, homogeneous and isotropic superscatterer is achieved only using two anti-vacuum blocks. Results validate and illustrate these functionalities, which make the superscatterer much easier in fabrication and application owing to its simplicity in parameters.
