摘要

Understanding how the switching voltage and current in power device affect EMI noise generation is necessary to design the circuit of power converter with fast and high-frequency switching operation. The switching characteristics of high-voltage silicon PiN diode and silicon carbide schottky barrier diode in DC-DC converter are compared and evaluated as an EMI noise source for various operating condition. This report also studies the effect of their switching characteristics on the generation and attenuation of conducted emission based on spectrogram analysis.
