In the paper the dynamic model based exact tracking control system of a permanent magnet synchronous motor is presented. The numerical solution of the given dynamic model is derived in form of the reference current and voltage vectors. The dynamic model calculation of the drive is based on all of the electromechanical constraints, which guarantees all the state variables not to exceed their limits both in steady and transient states. The voltage vector infeed enables ultimate control performance allowing an effective dynamic field weakening algorithm presented. The method is not dependent on the control structure - the regulators are only needed to compensate the inaccuracies of the drive model. To use all the benefits of the proposed control system in terms of the speed range extension a new dynamic model-based trajectory generation algorithm is proposed.
