This paper analyzes the background of constructing the logistics system of the expressway service area and then studies the feasibility to expand the logistics function. Then, it discusses the pros and cons of this system based on the Internet of Things to explore its construction. This paper proposes the use of the Internet of things technology to build the platform for the logistics information of the service area, thus constructing the logistics system of the service area on the basis of the expressway network.
