摘要

This chapter established a mathematical model of reactive power optimization for distribution network by capacitance. System active power loss and investment in equipment were treated as the optimization objective. When the model of the system was established, the new algorithm named GCCGPSO was proposed to optimize the system in choosing the capacitance of four capacities. This algorithm is good at choosing searching path, and has high quality of global searching. And it can also avoid repeated searching. The result of the simulation shows that the voltage level of the system will be highlighted after the optimization by GCCGPSO.
