The growing number in human population leads to an increasing number of patients worldwide. Therefore, the facilities in the hospital needs to be improved to cater the higher number of operations that need to be conducted. The current method used to sterilize the surgical equipment is separated between heat sensitive equipment and non-heat sensitive equipment. Our vision is to develop a low temperature sterilizer machine that can be used to sterilize both heat sensitive and non-heat sensitive equipment in one sterilizer machine. Thus, it can save money and time to sterilize the medical equipment. In this work, the ozone-based surgical equipment sterilizer system was successfully developed and effectively killed the bacteria from used medical equipment.
