In the paper is presented a study related to the influence of soil resistivity on grounding system design for a 110 kV substation. The variation of the dispersion resistances and of the touch voltage and step voltage are studied depending on the soil resistivity. At the same time, the relationship between soil resistivity, touch voltages and site isolation are studied.
