摘要

Simulation results of a double rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor with fractional slot concentrated winding for in-wheel direct-drive applications, in two different configurations, are presented in this paper. Finite element method is used to predict the motor working characteristics and performances for both structures, under different working conditions, and to find the optimal solution for the experimental demonstrator. The main goal is to achieve a high torque and power density over a large speed operation domain.
