Investment environment is the basis and premise of investment which determine the real estate industry cannot develop well without the improvement of investment environment. In this study, it will extract 25 indicators and analyze the economic environment, market environment, infrastructure environment, and social environment of 17 cities in Shandong province by applying principal component analysis. Then through cluster analysis, real estate investment environment of 17 cities in Shandong province is divided into five levels. The result indicates that there are obvious regional differences in the real estate investment environment in Shandong province, which shows a spatial distribution characteristics that Qingdao is the highest, then eastern cities, and the western cities is the lowest. Finally, according to the conclusion, the paper puts forward the strategies and countermeasures to improve the real estate investment in Shandong.
