Over the years, the Operations, Applications and Components Technical Committee has sponsored technical sessions addressing a wide range of topics of importance in the power and process Industries. In addition, OAC has sponsored technical sessions on toxic substances such as transportation and storage of radioactive materials which is very important in the nuclear power and defense industry. These sectors of technology are dependent upon the disciplines addressed by the Pressure Vessels and Piping Division. For the 2014 PVP Conference, OAC has continued its practice of encouraging publication on a range of topics, by authors from around the world.
