摘要

The leadership of Professor Robert Eberhart, in the design and clinical utilization of ECMO devices as well as via his decade's long advocacy of total artificial heart and VAD programs at NHLBI, has impacted our efforts at UoP in the design and clinical utilization of cardiopulmonary devices. It is most appropriate that ASME is honoring Professor Robert Eberhart for his seminal contributions in these areas.
