摘要

There are many non-contact ways for determination of flowrates in the metallurgy industry and one of those methods is Magnetohydrodynamics. The paper mainly considers the forces produced in Magnetohydrodynamics interacting with magnetic field. The aim of this paper is to make the measurement essentially independent of the fluid electrical conductivity. The flowmeter used in this study includes two coils and the forces generated by these coils are recognized in time. As a result, it is concluded that the forces produced in the coils can accurately measure the flowrate of a flow. This result can be developed to simulate the reliability and calibration parameters of the measurement.
