In order to solve the structure fatigue caused by long-term operation of cable line defect and failure analysis, to determine the force endured during short circuit and its effect on cable structure layer, and then from the structural mechanics and mechanical analysis of operation process of high voltage cable lines, operation analysis of cable structure parameters and its change characteristics. In this paper, according to the 220kV cable line simulation of the thermal field and thermal load current conditions of cable stress distribution, simulation of the c able structure layer contact force, simulation of the cable line in different arrangement, t he b ear short circuit force and direction under the action of single phase short circuit current. The results show that: the temperature and the thermal stress distribution are corresponding, the conductor thermal stress is larger, the contact pressure is mainly concentrated in the contact point, the distance short-circuit force in the cable lines on the direction and magnitude and spatial structure and spatial distance. The research results can provide technical support for the analysis of mechanical characteristics of cable structure.
