Correlation analysis between financial data and patent score based on HITS algorithm

Patents can defend the inventions of enterprises and bring about economic benefits. Therefore, evaluation of patent value is useful for predicting financial data such as stock, revenue, and profit. In order to establish a patent scoring method, we focus on patent reference network which represents attention of others. We applied HITS algorithm which is web-link analysis method to evaluate patent reference network. And we also calculate correlation between the patent score and stock data. As a result, B to B and/or small company tends to fit the liner regression.
