This paper presents an improvement control to enhance Low-voltage Ride-through (LVRT) capability of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). The DFIG is very sensitive to grid fault. When voltage dip occurs, there are overvoltage and a transition of the current in rotor winding. In this case the rotor side converter (RSC) and the DC bus voltage can be damaged. In order to keep the DFIG connected to the grid, to protect the power converter, to limit rotor side over-currents and to smooth the output power fluctuations of the DFIG under faults, a fuzzy logic control is proposed which introduces an adequate coordination between the DC bus voltage control and battery energy storage systems (BESS) control. To validate our investigation, a model of the proposed control is developed in MatlabSimulink.
