Teleoperated Driving can be a solution for situations that can not be solved by automated vehicles on their own. A human driver resolves the situation by controlling the vehicle remotely. Thus, drivers need to get an impression of the vehicle’s environment. This is typically achieved by streaming video data through existing cellular networks. However, the available bitrate and the respective stream quality can vary drastically. This paper utilizes an user study to investigate, which video qualities are sufficient for different driving scenarios and how they are correlated with the required bitrates. Results show, that scenarios have a strong influence on the users’ perceived quality ratings.
