The effective management of hydraulic facilities such as dam or reservoir is necessary todeal with the increased water requirements from the socio-economic development, the landuse change, and the population growth on a national level. But most of agricultural reservoirswere constructed a long time ago, and were constructed with old design criteria, from whichtheir fl ood control volumes are not enough to deal with fl ood and the dangers of disaster areincreasing due to climate change.
