In early 2010, Lars Robert Pedersen joined BIMCO as Deputy Secretary General. He is responsible for BIMCO's technical and operational activities involving membership services and regulatory developments related to ship operation at international, regional and national levels.Before joining BIMCO he had a career at A.R Moller-Maersk involving technical management of the Maersk fleet of container ships and prior to that as seagoing officer. Lars Robert holds an unlimited Chief Engineers license.
