This paper investigates the prediction of conducted EMI in power converters in frequency domain with parameters extraction based on numerical methods. The investigated object of the paper has been limited to power converter with front-end three-phase diode-bridge for rectifying AC grid side voltage to DC voltage. The paper firstly describes the procedure of parameters extraction using numerical methods and then discusses the difficulties of applying frequency domain simulation for this type of converter. Subsequently, methods are explained and proposed for conducted EMI prediction in frequency domain for different detector types. At the end, the frequency domain simulation results are compared to experimental and time domain simulation results, which verify the techniques used.
