摘要

Airborne TIR hyperspectral imagery is shown to be effective for the detection, identification, and quantification of gaseous pollutant emissions using diagnostic spectral features. The ability to visualize the plume morphology in many cases allows the unambiguous attribution of emission sources. The same instrumental methods and techniques are readily adaptable to other topical areas relating to emissions visualization, quantification, and tracking, and are a valuable resource for current and future field investigations.
