Mobile Plume Following for Vehicle High-Emitters, Complaint Investigation, and Spatial PM_(2.5) Patterns

Mobile monitoring can be used successfully in communities to do all of the following: 1. Help define the spatial extent, severity, and specific sources of high PM_(2.5) concentrations; 2. Support on-road plume following, providing insights into relative motor vehicle contributions and high-emitter fractions; 3. Help to identify contributions to community "hot spots"; and 4. Support and inform emission inventory and air quality modeling refinements in furtherance of meeting SIP requirements and improving air quality.
