We design a passive lens for static magnetic field enhancement by using transformation optics. In our previous study, our attention is focused on two dimensional (2D) structures. In this paper, we extend our design to three dimensional (3D) structures and good static magnetic field enhancement performance has also been verified by using 3D finite element method (FEM). This novel magnetic lens can greatly enhance the static magnetic field without additional power consumption from a weak background magnetic field, which may have potential applications in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and other compact high-field-magnet systems.
