An analysis method is proposed for Cylindrical Frequency Selective Surfaces (CFSS), at microwave wavelength, particularly useful for antenna radome applications. The structures are made by conducting rectangular patches or slots, conformed to a cylindrical surface. Appropriate relations are employed to analyze, in particular, structures with many elements. The opacity or transparency of the surfaces for a suitable frequency range in terms of transmission/reflection coefficients is computed. Comparisons with previous results given in the literature and with data obtained through Electromagnetic Simulators have been performed.
