摘要

The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technique is employed to obtain high-definition microwave images by using antennas of relatively small size. In spring 2004 a ground based SAR sensor was used to monitor a landslide in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. The mount was used as a pit several years ago, but non-correct mining operation produced instability of its slope and lead to several consequent landslides. This paper explains the results of the mentioned campaign.
