LEO satellite network plays a crucial role in next generation network for the characteristic of wide coverage and large communication capacity. With more satellites to be launched in the future, a flexible and adaptive routing protocol is needed. Prior work based on pre-defined topology faces the challenges of limited storage and link failure caused by satellite destruction. To meet the robustness requirements of satellite network and the applicability of satellite scenario, we propose SLP-GPSR, Satellite Lifetime Predicted Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing based on Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing. To solve the unstable connection problem caused by high-speed satellite movement, SLP-GPSR defines the potential next-hop area and choose one among them with largest stable connection time with the sending node. The lifetime of a stable link is estimated based on the relative position of the satellite in the last few sampling periods. Furthermore, SLP-GPSR uses the coordinate transformation method to make it suitable for 3D space. By using OMNeT++, simulations show that the performance of network is improved.
