摘要

A novel power combining technique for microwave power generation is presented. It combines an output power of an injection-locked high power oscillator and a power-adjustable high efficiency amplifier by using a Wilkinson power combiner. Since an isolation resistor is not included in the Wilkinson power combiner, the amplitude and phase are equalized by adjusting an output power of the high efficiency amplifier and an insertion phase of both the oscillator and the amplifier. Moreover, a shielding package is used between the oscillator and the amplifier to keep a high isolation.
