With the development of thermal therapy, new technology of temperature monitoring has attracted widespread attention. Based on the relation between impedance and temperature, treatment time dependences of the pressure peak and the derivative, magnetoacoustic tomograpby with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is applied to monitor temperature changes. A distinct peak in the curve of the peak amplitude derivative was observed, which can be contributed to the sharp conductivity variation of thermal ablation at the temperature reaches 69°C, demonstrating a promising application for non-invasive real-time temperature monitoring technology using MAT-MI.
