摘要

We have investigated a unique design of PCFs with multi-core. The geometry of the designed fiber is chosen such that it consists of thirty seven circles bounded by circular air holes. The designed fiber has shown an anomalous dispersion behavior at the first and second optical window. Besides the other properties like birefringence, confinement loss and normalized frequency for the designed fiber has also been investigated. However the proposed design can be considered to be a good candidate for application in optical communication and data transfer purposes.
