Traceability is a crucial requirement in metrology. It is realized by means of calibration which can be performed in different ways. In pressure metrology, pressure gauges are calibrated against a reference instrument. However calibration process is generally operated manually. Therefore calibration of pressure gauges is time consuming and open to operator mistakes. In this study, automated calibration system is designed at LabVIEW software program to calibrate a blood pressure measuring device calibrator. In this way, it is aimed to realize the traceability of this device with maximum conformance according to international standards and minimum error due to operator and to make calibration of medical instruments more accurate, more reliable and standardized. EURAMET cg-17 is applied as calibration procedure.
