Advancements in Dendrochemistry

摘要

Dendrochemistry is a branch of dendrochronology and the science that analyses the chemical elements in the tree-rings. Through the analysis of dendrochemistry, the environment information can be found when the trees grown. This is a kind of promising proxy data about the environmental changes. The research of the dendrochemistry can offer not only the information about the past climate, but also the information about the soil, air and water. This paper talks about the main research areas, existing problems and difficulties. The future work about tree physiology, interference elimination and the technical methods are also included.
